This is a certification course in the Art of Sound Medicine and Alchemy Crystal Singing Bowls. In this in-depth and hands-on course, you will learn the fundamental knowledge and applications of Alchemy Crystal Singing Bowls. Build a solid foundation with the sacred art of sound, and you may begin to share and work as a Sound Healer.

By the end of this course, you will be able to use the knowledge and skill acquired for personal development such as meditation, provide basic sound healing sessions to individuals or to a group of people, or combine it with existing holistic and therapeutic practices such as Yoga, Reflexology, Acupuncture, Reiki, Coaching, Aromatherapy, Cranial Sacral Therapy, Art Therapy and many more.

GROUP COACHING
We offer a 3-hour bespoke group coaching session in addition to our Level 1 training.
Set in a causal and interactive energetic space, Sarleia-Betty will personally support you further in fine-tuning your playing techniques and to answer any course questions. As a group, there will be exercises to strengthen your intuitive playing, co-creation skills and confidence. This is limited to 6 students per group for an intimate and closely guided coaching.

Upon completing Level 1, you may apply for our Level 2 course if you're interested.
The course is registered by the CMA - Complementary Medical Association.
Students must pass the Course Exam with a minimum of 80% and above (multiple-choice questions) to receive a certificate of completion from Sound Universe International.

Friday 18th October (from 7.00 am, SG Time) – Online space container module videos and private community space open.
Tuesday 23rd October (8 pm SGT, about 1 hour) – Online introductory call.
Wednesday 13th November by 11 pm SGT – Module Exercises Submission (4, 7, 8, 9 &11).
Saturday 16th November (10 am to 6 pm, SGT) – Practicum day In-person at a Singapore venue.
Monday 18th - 21st November – Empowerment Review - Multiple Choice Test.
Monday 25th November (Midnight, SGT) – Online space closes & certificates will be emailed that week.

What is sound healing?Sound healing is a holistic healing art that has been used for thousands of years. Everything in this world, objects, animals and human beings have a natural vibratory rate, also known as resonance. Stress, fear, shock, negative events can affect our body and imbalance our body system.

How does sound healing work?Sound healing creates an environment where the body can heal and restore the imbalanced areas back to their natural resonant frequency. It counters the body's natural fight or flight mode by activating the parasympathetic nervous system, which slows heart rate, reduces blood pressure, and activates healing in the body.

What happens during a sound bath experience?During a sound bath experience, the sound is heard, felt, internally and externally. It stimulates us on all levels – physical, emotional, and mental and upon transcending through the mind becomes spiritual.

What is a sound frequency?Sound frequency is the rate of oscillation or vibration measured in cycles per second. The human body is crystalline in structure and we all vibrate at our own unique frequency. Our bodies are made up of over 70% water, our cells are filled with fluid so sound frequency is an amazing tool for healing at a cellular level.

Do healing frequencies work?Frequencies are fundamental to the way we live our lives, and the use of sound can play a big role into this. We are energy at our core. We have energetic channels and energetic focus points in our bodies. There are certain tunings such as 432Hz, or Solfeggio Tunings suggesting they have healing properties to the body. We believe that consciousness is the primary influence for healing. Each individual person is unique to your resonance frequency; a sound or tone that to the listener feels nurturing, healing, relaxing or even uplifting is often stimulating the brain and nervous system positively.

What are binaural beats? What are they used for?A binaural beat is a tone or frequency perceived by the brain when two different tones close in pitch are perceived at the same time by a person. The tones interfere with one another, resulting in the creation of a third tone which is the difference between their pitches. The pitch difference is very small (no more than 30 Hz for Beta-Delta Brain Wave states), but once recognized by the brain it becomes a low-frequency pulse and both hemispheres start working in synergy, and the whole brain is immersed in a synchronization process. Ancient shamans and healers also were working on the binaural beats, with repetitive drumming and chanting in order to revitalise the connection between the two brain halves and between the human brain, the body and the unconscious. Slowing the brain’s waves by binaural beats pushes the brain to recognise itself on a higher level when both hemispheres communicate with each other. The more balanced the brain is, the more capable it is to recognise the messages of intuition.
